Gretchen,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see that there is a Latin Mass Society in Corning. My family moved from the area about 8 years ago, and are blessed enough to have a Latin Mass in our parish every Sunday. Five of my children will be down visiting their grandparents over Memorial Day weekend. Is there any particular Mass you would recommend over another in the area? When we left, there were some serious issues at some of the Masses, and we'd rather not expose our kids to that, especially without us there to explain. Thank you so much!

Oh, and if you'd like to add a convent using the Latin Mass to your list, my sister is prioress of The Benedictines of Mary out in Gower, Missouri. They are at benedictinesofmary.org and are closely affiliated with the Clear Creek Monks.

Sorry for the delay in replying. Recently moved, had one relative very ill, another expecting, and so on.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ben for taking up the slack.
Maeana, I just bought Angels and Saints at Ephesus from the nuns there. Highly recommend it.
ReplyDeleteRegarding Mass in the area, I cannot tell you. I myself often attended at Mount Saviour Monastery. They have made some changes lately and have a new Prior.
